I was also having the same issue earlier on today with dev branch, both on server R2 and locally with Windows 10, all redists fromunfortunately don't have much more in regards to debugging info but the issue isn't isolated to one person. The other problem is, once i found the server and i press join i got a message in loadingscreen "You were kicked of the game. I was able to find it on direct connect in ingame serverbrowser only. I downloaded the rc-server exe via Steam on windows dedicated.Įverything worked fine and the console showed that the server is online and running.

I will do so now however since i just encountered the same problem again. I finally got a dev branch version installed with SteamCMD and it works, however i now have the problem that i get Steam authentication failed when i try to connect to it. Before the last Update on Dev branch the normal server. Yea youre right, i want to test the 64 binarys so i noticed that error on Dev branch.
Steam didn't need to be running to start the server. This seems to apply for the Dev version, I had the same issue and rolled back to stable and it went away. After trying everithing or almost everything, the only affective but unorthodox away was uninstalling steam and reinstalling.Steam authentication failed.Įdit: Steam must running to get server connected to Steam, not need to own arma 3 on that Steam account to get able to join the own server. We have fixed the one on our side and we are not aware of anything else atm. The message is generic and covers more than one trigger.
